Calling all Student Directors

Student Director Interviews for Schoolhouse Rock Live Jr.

We are holding interviews for student directors for the ACYI musical for the following areas:

Choreography- you will be responsible for small or large group numbers. Your students will range from no dance experience to several years. Must be able to teach and choreograph for all levels.
 

Stage Management- you will be responsible for all the behind-the-scene aspects. You will be child herding and cue calling. Must be able to multi-task and problem solve.

Music- you will be responsible for individual soloist. You will be a personal role-model to 1 to 2 students. You will also assist with the large group numbers, but your responsibility will be focused to the soloists. Must be able to play and read basic music.

 

Interviews will be held on Friday, February 15^th, after school. Sign-ups will be for every 5 minutes. Priority will be made for those with extenuating circumstance, please inform Mrs. Day. Be prepared with a resume and a smile. Your contribution this show is critical and you must be prepared to commit to several afternoons a week. You will be a mentor and example to these students, so a high level of character and professionalism is absolutely necessary, but don’t think we are going to forget about personality. We are looking for proactive students. Be yourself. Best of luck to you all.
