1. Students will meet in the commons and form a line (or cluster or blob, whoever gets there first decides) and they will receive a number that the student director will give them.
2. They will be put into groups of 8-10. Boys will audition in a group of boys and girls will audition in groups of all girls.
3. They will warm-up as a group before going in.
4. They will be taught a song at the audition (don't bring anything prepared). They will learn and sing it as a group a couple times and then be asked to sing individually, once.
5. They then will be done with the audition.
A few audition tips are-
- Smile
- Don't talk while others are singing
- Breathe
- Do your best
We will be posting a callback list on Tuesday night for Wednesday Callbacks and another list on Wednesday night for Thursday Callbacks. If you get a called back for one or both days good for you. If you don't get called back that doesn't mean you weren't good or we didn't like you.
We can't wait to get working on this show and we are very excited there is a lot of interest. See you all next week!
